IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • What ages is this event suitable for?
This event is designed for kids as we have some toys and soft play set up for younger children, however any age child may attend, and each child must be accompanied by an adult (adults will most likely love it too!)
  • Is this suitable for all children?
We understand that some children may have difficulty being gentle with the goats. We will do what we can to show the children how to interact with the goats and help in any way that we can. We do require our goats to be safe though, and not to be scared, so we ask the adults to help make sure the children are being kind to the goats, or redirect them to the toys.
  • Can the parents/guardians interact with the goats too?
Yes! Everyone can join in! You can absolutely play with and cuddle the babies as well.
  • Is there a risk of injury?
Our babies are tiny and friendly, but they still have little hooves and mouths so there is a risk of little scratches, bruises, falling over, getting clothes and hair nibbled and getting dirty. If at any time your child is feeling uncomfortable with the goats please alert us and we will assist straight away.
  • What ages are the mobile animal packages suitable for?
All ages! We can cater to the very young to the very old. If you have a young child who is apprehensive we can hold an animal while they pat it, or they can look from the other side of the pen. We can also bring animals over to someone who may not be able to get out of a chair so they can pat or cuddle. Any age can find joy from these beautiful animals. Children under 5 are to have a parent in the pen with them.
  • We don't have a grassed area, can we still book you?
Yes! We can set up on any surface by putting a tarp down. We will do our best to clean up any mess, but you may need to hose down an area after we've left. Ideally an outside area is best as our animals are not toilet trained, but we can make an indoor setting work.
  • What do we do in the case of bad weather?
We can bring a shelter to keep some rain off, but it won't cover the whole pen, and may not be suitable for very heavy rain or strong wind. If you have an undercover area, garage or shed we can set up that will be perfect, or if we need to cancel due to bad weather you will get a full refund.
  • Do we get to feed the animals?
Yes! We ask you not to bring your own food, as our animals have very sensitive tummies and will nibble everything, but we will provide treats for you to offer them, and if the babies need a bottle you can have a go of giving them a milk feed.
  • How many people can be in the pen at one time?
We don't like to overcrowd the pen so that the animals feel comfortable and you get ample one on one time with the animals. We will customise how many people can be in the pen at one time based on the ages and how many animals we have brought. Generally there will be a maximum of ten children in the pen at one time, less for adults.
  • Do you provide educational sessions?
We can either just bring the animals to your event and help out with cuddles, pats and snacks, or we can provide education about the animals when we are visiting childcare centers and such. We are always there to answer any questions from children or adults also. We love talking about our animals!
  • What sets you apart from other mobile farms?
We have a focus on our gorgeous miniature goats and the joy that they bring, but we also love our other animals too! We have a genuine love and passion for the welfare and happiness of our animals, and we will always make sure the health and safety of our animals is our priority. When our animals are not out and about they are roaming on our large farm, have excellent shelters, top quality hay and feed and get daily cuddles. We are passionate about bringing joy to others, and want to bring a little happiness to your day. We also have a passion for working with people of all abilities, and want to cater to individual needs.
  • What area do you service?
We are based in Dimboola, Victoria, but can service anywhere in the Wimmera. More than 45 minutes from Dimboola will incur an extra travel charge.
  • What should we bring?
Please don't wear your best clothes, as there is a risk of getting dirty. Sunscreen and a hat is recommended as we will be outdoors. Also make sure you bring your phone or camera for lots of photos and selfies!
  • Do I need to have done yoga or pilates before?
No! The session is very casual and no experience is necessary. You can do what you feel comfortable doing, or just sit on your mat and cuddle goats.
  • What do I need to bring?
Mats will be provided as they can get nibbled on! You may like to bring water, sunscreen and a camera for lots of selfies. Please wear clothes that cover your back, and ideally cover your shoulders to help prevent any tiny hoof scratches.
  • How long do the sessions go for?
The yoga session will run for 45 minutes, which is followed by 30 minutes of goat play, cuddles and selfies.
  • Are the goats forced to participate?
Absolutely not. The goats will more than likely want to jump on you, cuddle you or have a sniff, but if they aren't in the mood and they feel like chilling then that's what they can do! We all have days where we feel less social than others.
  • Do the goats bite, head butt or kick?
We only have very friendly goats attend our sessions, and they have been specifically selected for the job! So you shouldn't have to worry about any aggression at all. The babies may try to suck your finger if they think you have milk, just remove your finger and give them a pat instead.
  • Can kids come to goat yoga/pilates?
Unfortunately at this stage the sessions are only available for adults and kids who are able to sit relatively quietly on a mat during the session so that we can all have a relaxing and quiet session. If there's enough interest we will definitely consider running classes for kids in the future.
